Hi!!!

I’m Sarah and my middle name is Bryn. I used to hate having such a weird middle name but now I love it!

Me in a nutshell:  I live in Simpsonville SC with a house full of boys - never a dull moment in this house.  Yep, boy mom here to two high energy toddlers and wife to an incredible husband who has supported me through everything.  He is my rock.  I’m happiest when I’m dancing - lots of dance parties in our kitchen these days, very different from my 20s!!  My favorite food is my husband’s homemade salsa - he really needs to bottle it and sell it.  I’ve been gluten free for over six years now and it was the best thing I could have done for my health.  In fact, if I wasn’t doing photography, I would love to be a nutritionist.

I was always the girl with the camera ever since my first photography class in high school using a dark room - am I aging myself here? I never went anywhere without my camera. Always developing doubles to hand off prints to friends, always had an eye for photography. Pictures have always been a huge part of my life. Once I started my own family is when it hit me like a ton of bricks, priorities change and your mind wanders a bit. So here is how my story went…

I started my photography business when I was raising my one year old while pregnant with baby number two. While I was being groomed as a CPA to take over as CFO. While spending time with my husband and keeping up with our house. Fast forward four years later, I quit my accounting job to finally go full time with my photography business while also becoming a stay at home momma. They say if you love what you do you will never have to work a day in your life. Two of the most fulfilling jobs that I have had yet. I remain humbled and blessed EVERY single day.

Growing up one of my absolute favorite past times was going through photo albums of old family photos. I’m talking even back to the black and white photos. It didn’t matter to me. I could busy myself for hours looking at all the details in a photo. The emotions, the backgrounds, the connection. Sometimes I would make up my own stories about that day based on what I saw in the image. Some things never change. Photography has been a huge part of my life all along and I’m glad I took the jump three years ago to turn my passion into a business where I can easily put my heart and soul into it.

I hope our paths cross soon.  I’d love to meet you and hear more about your story!

Sarah
